Goji berries, also known as wolf berries, are known for its countless health benefits. The fruit, a gift of Mother Nature, has gained a lot of popularity these days throughout the world. Found in the Himalayas and certain remote areas, such as China, Mongolia and Tibet, these little red berries grow on the plant known as Lycium Barbarum. Laced with a variety of nutrients, Goji berries have been felicitated with the ‘Super Fruit’ title.

Loaded with a range of vitamins, nutrients, dietary fibers, essential fatty acids and anti-oxidants, the beneficial berries are used in the treatment of a number of ailments, including tumor, skin diseases, cancer, insomnia, poor eyesight and many more, making them the most demanding fruits. You can grow this super fruit anywhere in any type of climate or soil. One needs certain things to grow these berries that include soil, water, seed of the plant, access to an adequate amount of sunlight along with a suitable place where you want to plant it.

Once you have access to all these required parameters, plant the seeds in the soil, preferably organic in nature. Keep the plant inside for initial six months as it is very fragile and need utmost care as well as a lot of sunlight and water. After six months you can shift the plant outside in the garden. There would be no berries for first two years. Goji plants only become productive after two years. In addition, protect the plant from pets and animals for any damage.
