It’s been proven that goji berries contain a huge amount of Vitamin C, more than oranges and other fruits do. Even the stardardized test by the US Department of Agriculture that measures the Total Antioxidant Potency of foods and supplements or ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) Scale attests to the power of goji berries. Having an ORAC scale of 25,300, which is also attributed to its high content of Vitamin C, makes it really a very potent fruit. But why do we need a good amount of Vitamin C?
Vitamin C is a water soluble of the vitamins which means it can easily be dissolved and excreted by our body, hence can never really be stored for long.
