Can Healthy food prevent Breast Cancer?

Most woman already know about the significance of vegetables and fruits in preventing breast cancer, since they hold antioxidants, vitamins, minerals – and unique compound named phytochemicals, many of which fight cancer and other diseases.  Many common spices (parsley, curry, garlic, hot pepper) also are good sources of phytochemicals. Also new study advocates that greater total fat intake (about 35 percent or more of daily calories) cause a larger risk for breast cancer than lower total fat intake (about 15 percent of daily calories). So, try to limit total fat intake to less than 30 percent of daily calories in order to help in the prevention of breast cancer.

Saturated fats found in streaked meat and high-fat dairy products are more likely to increase risk of breast cancer than unsaturated fats found in nuts, seeds and avocados, plus olive and canola oils. Eat seven or more servings daily. The raw vegetables are more advantageous. However, note that all vegetables like cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, Brussel sprouts, etc. cannot be taken raw as they contain oxalates, surplus of which can lead to gall stones. Never overcook vegetables; it will help preserve their benefits. There are several cancer fighting vegetables and fruits like apple, grapefruit, orange, kale, papaya, tofu and goji berries.
