Noni Juice in Healthy Blend Juice

So far, we have talked about the Goji Berry Juice and Mangosteen Juice in our Healthy Blend Juice. From Southeast Asia where the Mangosteen is grown, we now travel to Tahiti to find the unique Noni Fruit.

According to Dr. M. Wang  (2002), ” Morinda citrifolia L. (Noni) fruit juice has been used in folk remedies by Polynesians for over 2000 years, and is reported to have a broad range of therapeutic effects, including antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, antitumor, anthelmintic, analgesic, hypotensive, anti-inflammatory, and immune enhancing effects.”

A literature review by Will McClatchey (2002) for the University of Hawaii, reports traditional uses to treat diabetes, heart trouble, and high blood pressure. McClatchey further reports on several studies investigating its anti-tumor possibilities. He cites an interesting study by Ay Hirazumi (University of Hawaii, 1997) that “identified the immunomodulatory activity as occurring in a polysaccharide-rich portion of the juice (aqueous extract). Her work has pointed to possible roles of M citrifolia fruit aqueous
polysaccharides in mediation of certain kinds of cancer.”

McClatchey further reports on a study by Dr. M. Wang (Journal of Agricultural Food Chemistry. 1999) that “isolated a trisaccharide fatty acid ester and 3 novel glycosides31 from M citrifolia fruit. “

While I know these studies are using a lot of highly technical jargon, I wanted to show you that there is real, solid, scientific evidence of the unique benefits of Noni Juice. In time these nutritional elements will find their way into patented pharmacuticals and the drug store will charge you $100 per bottle. But the benefits are available to you now, in the natural juice of the Noni fruit.

Eating Heathy,

Tim
