FDA Violates My Right to Choose!
I am outraged!
The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has decided that Americans aren’t quite smart enough to feed ourselves well and make choices on caring for our own bodies.
This draft, if approved, will reclassify vitamins, food supplements, even natural juices as ‘DRUGS’ thereby removing them from the free market. While I keep my doctor well informed of all the supplements I take, I can’t imagine having to ask her for a prescription for the turmeric pills I take to control arthritis pain, or the Healthy Blend juice to ensure I get enough antioxidants.
This proposed ‘guidance’ is an insult. I am including links to file your comments with the FDA, to find your congressmen and voice your opinion! Do it now as decisions are being made as we speak!

I am outraged that you would consider eliminating my freedom of choice in the use of natural fruits, vegetables, and supplements in caring for my own body. NO, NO, NO! I have recently become aware of FDA Docket 2006D-0480 - Draft Guidance for Industry on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Products and Their Regulation by the Food and Drug Administration; Availability. This guidance drafted by the FDA is an act on their part to interfere with my personal freedom to choose foods, vitamins and supplements that I believe enhance my quality of life.
Please do all you can to stop this Guidance from becoming an FDA regulation.
