Goji Berries are also known as Wolfberry is the common name given to the fruit of Lycium barbarum. Lycium barbarum has got two species of boxthorn in the family Solanaceae. This Solanaceae family also includes the potato, tomato, eggplant, and tobacco. According to the experts Goji Berries original habitat is still hazy but few feel that they belong to southeastern Europe to southwest Asia. Talking about their cultivation Goji Berries are generally deciduous woody perennial plants grown juts 1-3 m high. But the length is bit short in comparison to the one grown in the south of China. On the contrary they are taller in height in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. This shows they vary in height and this depends upon the natural surroundings and nature.
